Is tutoring right for me?
Every student can benefit from working with a private tutor—there’s simply nothing better than getting prep that’s customized just for you! Tutoring is a particularly good option for students:
- With busy or complicated schedules
- Who need one-on-one attention
- Have aggressive score-improvement goals
- Learn in a unique fashion
- Are anxious about the test
- Have particularly low or high starting scores
- Are easily distracted
- Have limited time to prepare before the test
Is tutoring worth the investment?
It’s absolutely worth it! The cost of the tutoring corresponds with the quality of the instruction and the level of hands-on, one on one teaching you’ll receive. Tutoring is personalized based on your strengths, challenges, and learning style. And the convenience is unbeatable—I will meet with you in your home or in a place convenient to you according to your schedule.
How much do you charge for tutoring?
My rates depend on travel time. Contact me with your location and I will be able to give you an accurate rate.
How often can you tutor me?
My availability to tutor is up to you! I can tutor you as often as necessary/needed to work together to achieve your Math learning goals.
Do you have a location?
Currently, I am tutoring in person in Southern Florida serving Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and surrounding areas.
Do you offer online tutoring?
Yes, I use Zoom with an interactive Whiteboard so both the student and I can view and work on problems together.
What subjects do you tutor or teach?
I teach and tutor in Pre-Algebra, Algebra Honors, Geometry Honors, Pre-Calculus Honors, Math Analysis 1 Honors, Math Analysis 2 Honors, and Calculus Honors. Please contact me if you need help in any area of Math to customize your lesson.
Do you offer group tutoring sessions?
Yes. I will tutor small groups of up to 2 students.
What is your cancellation policy?
Any cancellations should be within 24 hours notice. If notification is not given within 24 hours you will be charged 50% of your lesson rate.
Do you offer package pricing?
No package pricing is offered at this time. All sessions are 1 hour and paid for at the time of the lesson.
What is included in a tutoring lesson?
All lessons are tailored to the students’ individual needs and goals. Sessions include one on one tutoring time and practice work to achieve their desired goal – help in school or passing standardized tests.
